Nailah Grant McFarlane
Nailah Grant McFarlane is a native of the Bronx, New York. She relocated to Georgia in 1995 to continue her education and pursue a career in the legal profession. She graduated from John Marshall Law School and began practicing law in 2006. Growing up in the inner city, she always had a passion for fighting for the vulnerable and less fortunate.
Mrs. McFarlane founded The Law Firm of Grant and Associates in 2007. Over the years, she has mentored and managed young lawyers, while vigorously and successfully representing over 1,000 clients in various areas of law. As a trial attorney, her areas of practice include criminal defense, personal injury, family law, and juvenile court matters.
Mrs. McFarlane has served earnestly and passionately, in various legal roles, in her quest for “justice for all”, including as an Assistant District Attorney. During her time in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office she was presented with the “Major Crimes Superstar Award” and named the Fayette County Bar Association’s “Attorney of the Year.”
She is a member of various organizations including, President of the Fayette County Bar Association - 2023 and 2024, Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, NAACP, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated since 1997.
